Group classes

SECTION 1: INVOICES AND PAYMENT

a. Term invoices are to be paid in full after the first lesson (or trial period).  

b. Failure to do so may result in the lessons being cancelled.

c. Lessons are invoiced by the term and cannot be adjusted.

d. Creative Kids $100 rebate will only be deducted from the invoice once the voucher number has been received.

SECTION 2: ILLNESS AND NOTICE

1. ILLNESS
  • SORE THROAT / COLD: If your child is displaying any cold/flu/COVID symptoms, they MUST NOT attend the lesson. Notice of cancellation must be provided by 8:00am ON THE DAY of the scheduled class. Any student observed unwell during the lesson will be removed, and parents contacted for their collection.
  • VOMITING / FEVER: Students who have been vomiting and or have a fever within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson MUST  not attend their lesson.
2. COVID-19:
  • Any students awaiting a COVID result, or have been asked to self-isolate must not attend the lesson.

SECTION 3: MAKE-UP POLICY

a. If adequate notice has been received, a student may join another group class on offer at the Studio during that term (e.g if they are enrolled in keyboard lesson, they may attend another keyboard class on an alternative day or another group class throughout the term).

b. No outstanding lessons will be carried into the following Term or year.  

c. If the scheduled teacher is absent, the class may be taught by another teacher.

SECTION 4: CONDUCT AND BEHAVIOUR

It is expected that all students try their best and treat others with respect during the lessons. Any student observed displaying behaviour contrary to this will be asked to leave the class and their parents contacted.
Students are also expected to come prepared for their lessons each week with the appropriate materials, and engage in home practice between the lessons to ensure constant progress.

SECTION 5: TERMINATION OF LESSONS

Lessons are payable by the Term and payment is not refundable. Enrolment in the lessons will roll over each term unless written notice is received at the end of the previous term.
